Does anyone here absolutely suck at texting or using their phone? Whether you hate it or are too nervous to reply etc...Any feedback would be great.

I got one of those old qwerty real touch buttons phones and it helps. texting can take hours if using that other number system. I despise using texting/sms language too. but now I don't have anyone to text to because nobody text me back. They prefer BBM (blackberry) or e-mails or facebook or mxit, skype...

texting back is not a real problem for me, but sending the first text of a conversation is still hard...
if you have problems with the physical texting; i recommend a newer phone, most have landscape-orentated qwerty if you flip then 90 degrees. also, samsung has a 'swype' system that will allow you to type without lifting your fingers, aided by autocomplete.

Same for me. I sometimes have a hard time ending a text conversation unless the other person ends it.

i hate texting i either write a full letter with dear+your sincerely or text yes/no

I have the lowest bundle on my phone, still do not ever use up the inclusive minutes and texts.

Texting is my main - and my favourite - way of keeping in touch with people.

I totally hate texting. It takes forever but that's a lot to do with the fact that my phone keypad is not qwerty but numbers.

So even though I'm not that comfortable with making or taking a phone call, I'd actually prefer to talk on the phone than have to text back and forth. You can exchange more information just speaking right at each other in one minute than you can having to stand there texting over and over.

One person I know does this to me and it drives me crazy. If more than one exchange is needed to have the conversation, why doesn't she just CALL me and we can very speedily SAY what we need to say, is my mindset about it.

My truly favorite way of keeping in touch is e-mail. I love e-mail.

Texting is okay in moderation, but it gets time-consuming. I prefer the phone, actually. Emails are nervewracking because sometimes people don't respond and you start obsessing over whether you've said something wrong.

I enjoy texting. I text on the phone every day with my friends. I feel that I am more comfortable texting than talking on the phone; it gives you more time to think about what to say. I also enjoy communicating via e-mail; it's basically the same thing, but on the computer or in my case, an iPad.
