About some teenagers at an autism school in the UK who are just trying to live normally and cope with their autism.

Very impressive. I am liking the recent documentaries about autism.. they seem to be getting better and better.

I like how it shows the verbal side of autism.. the ones who just seem a bit "touched" by everyone else. Many people's views are that autistic people don't speak, and are in their own little world all the time, and that documentary shows otherwise.

I watched that when it first came on telly a few years ago. It's a good documentary.

I saw that on telly a few years ago. I thought that it was good and amazed me how things have changed since the 1970's and early 1980's when I was a child or teenager.

Wow! that was painfull to watch but very good!
My only criticism is that they focused a little too much on the violent kids.
I was/am much more like the girl with the glasses and red jumper.

Well, I went to a school like that and there was a high percentage of "violent" kids, so it seems like a realistic portrayal to me. Almost everyone in my class occasionally went out of control, either yelling or throwing things or fighting the teachers. Some a lot more often than others, though.

I remember seeing this on TV, I feel really bad for the kids who's mum died and he struggled with it so much. Poor kid :(

Is this the documentary with the guy that had recorded tapes and tapes of Eastenders (or another similar English series?)...

If so, I thought it was a pretty good documentary:)
I was searching for it a couple weeks ago to watch again, so thanks for posting!

Yeah that one. And also that same guy found a girlfriend near the end of the documentary.
