How many 40 minute episodes how you watched in a single day? My current record is 17 episodes of battlestar galactica. It used to be 14 episodes. (I like to watch in marathons!)

I once watched the entire third series of Boston Legal in a day, that's 24 episodes.
Also, I once watched 16 episodes of Law & Order Criminal Intent in a day.

In the "40 mins" scale, 12 episodes. I can watch 24 twenty-minute Friends episodes in a day, that's a full season each day.

My record for Episodes is about 6 episodes of Doctor Who in a day. Bearing in mind that two of them were 6 parters three were 4 parters and 1 was a 2 parter. So althogether that's 18 half hour episodes. Which is quite good for a 15 year old who is not yet a master of her devotion.

Never really kept track. But I bought LOST season one cause it was real cheap and I think I watched all 20-something episodes in 2 days, so had to have been a decent number in a day. Probably not much more than maybe 13 or 14 in day. I just remember that I couldnt stop watching =P

I once watched Twin Peaks marathon, it was on tv, starting at 11pm ending at 6am every night for a few days. can't remember how many cause I'd lost track of time. so it wasn't that many episodes a day, but the fact that I could spend a week not moving from the sofa is kinda scary to think of :p

Probably 3 episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I can't really watch that many eps of one show on a day (because I'll get oversaturated) and I never did marathons... The closest thing to a marathon viewing I've had, was watching the entire series of the original Transformers in one month, which was 4 episodes of 22 minutes a day.

EDIT: I didn't realize this was such an old thread. I don't particularly care but I know a lot of people do. I just saw it and posted on it. It was under "similar topics".

I binge watched the first 10 episodes of Jessica Jones and I only stopped because it was 4am and I had to get up at like 8 or something.
But the most of anything that I've watched at once is an anime called The Future Diary (Mirai Nikki in Japanese). I watched all 26 episodes in one night, plus the OVA that was only subtitled in English at the time (there's a dub now). I stopped watching for about 2 hours before realizing I couldn't stay away for any longer, not because the anime was so good but because the lead female, Yuno Gasai, is awesome.

I used to get through The Simpsons (20 minute episodes) DVD boxsets in a couple of days, so probably around a dozen episodes per day. I would also instantly re-watch them with the audio commentary on, so if that counts then it was two dozen per day.

I've gone through entire seasons of Game of Thrones in one day.

I watched a few TV series episodes within a day. The specific TV series as follows:

* Northern Exposure (1990s CBS series about a New York trained doctor sent to Alaska as a mandatory requirement (to practice in a undeserved region) for paying off medical school).

* Home Improvement (1990s ABC series about the antics of a cable-show toolman, his family, friends, and even a neighbor who offers advice from such novel, esoteric perspectives).

* MadMen series - HBO series about the 1960s era advertising industry, and the lives of people in the AD industry (often outside of their work schedules). I mostly watched the episodes that focused on key news-events of the 1960s.
