I agree it's the corporate world where this sort of thing is culturally compulsory, politics isn't in their league, it's the same game though, grovelling up through the ranks of factions.
something in me goes eeuw when i see it. i did try it a couple of times but from the pained look on people's faces i don't have what it takes. i've always struggled with the idea that people not only want you to lie, but to lie utterly convincingly.
