Help! I can't decide which series to start reading first....

Tha Aubrey/Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian?

Or the Richard Bolitho series by Alexander Kent?

Can anyone recommend which to dig into first? Their so numerous I can't decide!! (which is good) :3

My husband is practically ADDICTED to Patrick O'Brian's novels- he loves them and has bought all of them. I guess that's a pretty strong recommendation. :).

Don't know about the other one but O'Brian stuff is the only "series" I've been able to read. I guess you'd expect to hear this, so here goes: one of the characters shows AS traits and about midway through the books, he has a daughter with autism (well, it's undiagnosed of course in the early 1800s.)
