Hello.
I have an interest/fear of fire alarms. I have sensory issues.
I like to occasionally watch fire alarm test vids on YouTube.
I am not so good at picking up fire alarm brands, models, etc.
The brands I am most familiar with are Simplex and FireLite.
I think the FireLite BG12s have a very pretty design, what with it's dual-action activation and it's blinking LED light, and it's friendly "activated" notifier.
Is there any other sounds that these alarms make besides loud beeps/horns, sirens, chirps, bells (man, I hate those loud bells), etc.?

Is there anyone else like me in this regard on here who is interested in this stuff?

Fire alarms are designed to be as annoying and noisy as possible

Think about it, if you were half asleep then you aren't going to wake up to some pleasant sounding chime going off in the background, you need something to actually wake you up, get you to do something about it to shut it up

If you want a quick way to shut it up, try using a pillow, wave the pillow at the fire alarm and it should blow all the soke away from it so it can shut up
