America will get what it has been hollering for, it will not be long before the yuan appreciates against the dollar. What will Obama do when inflation hits the fan?

Congratulations! You get it. The Chinese will raise the exchange rate to fend off America's threatened protectionist trade actions. It is not as if America can really afford to stop the flow of Chinese goods into the country, but Barrack Obama puts on a very bad show where the Chinese are involved. Getting dissed in China when he visited is one and then sending Google into the vortex of self inflicted humiliation is another. It is unbelievable that the USA Today actually published an article with the headlines screaming about how Google spit in China’s eye.

Read through the comments in the New York Times on the plan to give money to homeowners behind on their mortgages. The split in American society is getting worse by the day and Obama's efforts to “heal” the divide have become the reasons why the damaging polarization is happening. No matter what they do, not everyone will get helped. Imagine the rage of those who believed themselves worthy but are passed over because some local bureaucrat decided that they had a lower priority.

In the Soviet Union they blamed the failure of the five year plans on the residual effects of Capitalism. It is never the fault of the current regime. It is always the fault of those who came before.

Brace yourself, the yuan is finally going to start appreciating against the dollar. Every point that the yuan moves against the dollar is another vector of pain that the American consumer will have to bear.

Greece has been reduced to calling itself an “emerging market” and Iceland rejected the British and Dutch repayment proposal a few weeks ago. But the troubles that the Greeks and Icelanders face are of their own unique making. It is the problems in Ireland that mirror very closely the developments in the United States except that the Irish do not have the power to print the world’s reserve currency. Read the angst that burns through the words of the commentators. They feel betrayed and yet powerless to stop the abuse.

The trillions of dollars that have been poured recklessly into the American economy can buy a fleeting sense of wellbeing, but it really only defers and snowballs the pain. On a grand scale and thus on a slower timeline, America is moving inexorably to its Irish moment. It will be bad. In fact, it will be horrifying.

What else should we expect. Right now the Chinese are actually making stuff. In the U.S. our power elite is still busy manipulating symbols and redistributing debt to the people least able to bear it.

Overall, the part of the population having the most taken from them and given to others is predominantly white. People in other ethnic groups don't like what's going on too, but they don't have the numbers to be seen as the "face" of the "movement."

Besides, the media wants to scream that any revolution is all about racism, so they are focusing on the vocal white people more than anyone else.

It's really sad that it has come to this. The more the media tries to paint the Tea Party activists as racists, the more racism gets generated. But the problems are long in the making and I think this census is going to show that by 2015, Whites are going be a minority in America. And people will then extrapolate and come to the conclusion that some time in this century, Hispanics will be the largest American ethnic group.

If I had to guess where Hitler will reincarnate, I'd say America in the not too distant future.

I'd not want to come across as racist, but I honestly believe that when whites are the minority, as they are now in many places, there will be no legal protection offered to them.

As a white male (their label for me), I have been discriminated against for my religious beliefs and my ethnicity (Italian) because ultimately the attitude is that "you are not one of us" (predominant religious denomination and ethnic culture of the region). Now, under the law, that is illegal, but try and get EEOC or any similar organization to do anything. To them, Christian is Christian and a Baptist discriminating against a Catholic doesn't exist in their eyes. Likewise an Englishman, Italian, German, etc. are all "white."

If they won't act against discrimination that exists now, when (if ever) will they stand up against what's now recognized as "reverse discrimination" now (turning away qualified white males in favor of hiring a lesser-qualified minority for the sake of "diversity"), when will they ever take action?

I genuinely worry about what will happen when demographic pressures push many Americans who are labeled “White” too far. I do not want to come across as a racist too, but I do think that it is ridiculous for anyone to be denied opportunities on account of their race. If people want the good things in life, then they ought to work for it. Brandishing one’s ethnicity and calling upon historical guilt only condemns everyone to mediocrity.

As the recent debate on the “racist” nature of the Tea Party movement and the passionate howls elicited on both sides by Arizona’s decision show, race relations in the United States have never been stable. The Civil War and the war with Mexico all point to the fragility of the inter-ethnic dialogue in America. I had a professor in college who actually viewed the illegal immigration of Mexicans into America as the legitimate claim of a people’s birthright. However sympathetic I am to the Hispanic population in America, I am also aware of the problems that illegal immigration has created in the societies that host these migrants.

Was having a Black President really such a good thing? Poor Barrack Obama, he strikes me as the wrong man for the wrong times. Much will be blamed on him and the vitriol will be unjust. Come November when the Republicans win enough seats in Congress to block all legislation, Americans will finally feel the full force of the broken economy. I wonder how it will be possible to explain to a 30 or 40 something White American that he needs to go from $125,000 a year to $25,000 a year and that he will need to move his family to apartments where drug dealing is commonplace and in the open because that is just how it is.

It is going to be a lot worse than I had originally thought.
