They need to hire you to improve their design.

But so does Amy Winehouse.

:P

Red Hat offers all of the major Linux desktop environments. I find GNOME and KDE to be more attractive than Aero or Aqua.

Doesn't surprise me, even windows fanboy's like my former self used RedHat. Its been commercially supported since 2001 and since many IT Pros have been getting tired of security holes, huge licensing costs and all they above with the new Windows Server it has become even more popular.

Redhat was also one of the 1st major mainstream distros and has a loyal base of IT Pros and enthusiasts. Doesn't make up much of the market, however with the number of people in these categories increasing as well as the IT guys getting End-Users to use linux you are actually starting to see some market share. E.G- The guy at the computer shop puts Ubuntu on a clients computer.

Redhat is also supported by major industrials as well as developed and developing nations.

I believe they default to GNOME, a holdover from the days when KDE and Qt had licensing issues and many major distros dropped it. But I know my friend definitely used KDE when he logged in to his account on the university's Red Hat boxes.
