It's not me against the world. It's everyone for themselves. Because the physical task of survival is easier these days people don't have to work together as much to stay alive. The end result is alienation and a socially darwinistic environment. The worst part is I can't see a point to any of it - the struggle. It's not worth it. There is no lasting reward for someone who simply doesn't care. What's there to prove when you die in the end anyways? I might as well bypass the whole process.
