I don't like IQ tests, I don't like them questions with "find the missing number/shape, what's the odd one out" last time I did an IQ test I gave up on the first few questions because I didn't get it and I wasn't concentrating. IQ tests aren't good for calculating intelligence anyway especially not for aspies I've noticed, I already know I'm smart because I can tell and other people have told me.

I tried this. I have never seen questions like that, and could not find any patterns in any of them. I made a random guess on the first one and for ALL of the remaining 34 questions, I stared at the screen, going, "Duhhhh!!" for until the time ran out. In other words, I only answered one of the questions, and that was a random guess.

I figured my score would be 2 or something like that. But no, I got a 99.

I'm not sure which is more puzzling, the test itself or how I managed to get just about average by not answering any of the questions.

There must be something wrong with this test. I got 128, and I am awful at these tests. I have no idea how to solve these type of questions, I just picked according to the number of dots or lines. If the last example had three dots, I chose an answer that had four. Usually though, that method doesn't work and I get all the questions wrong.

I did that too, picked the next logical answer after looking at the previous examples. Some of them were in numerical order but some had a specific pattern based on previous shapes and on some I looked at the centers and tried to figure out what was going on there. I would answer a few right then the squares would increase in the next question. I had to take a test that was sorta like this to get a job once and I learned to quickly detect patterns and limit my choice for answers as fast as possible. Most the time I had only two possible answers after doing this and figured it out using logic but on more than a few questions I just guessed.

Of note, I've taken so many IQ tests on the 'net and I always seem to score in the extremes; it's either mental retardation or gifted.

Which ironically, is exactly the same as the two official ones I've taken in person.

I score relatively consistently; however, the shorter the time limit, the lower my score. In 10-15 min long tests, there's a noticeable decrease.

If time limits and verbal components factor into lowering your scores, you could try some high range tests that have a large spatial component and no time limit; for example, look up the CFNSE for a free version of such a test.

By the answers you submitted your IQ is

67

The same or a better result is reached by

91.86% of the people taking the test.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information regarding the result
The result is based on previously collected statistical material of 336167 tests

You answered 17 questions correctly. However, the amount of questions answered correctly doesn't as such determine the result but it is essential how difficult questions were answered correctly. The operation of the test is more thoroughly explained in here

The average value of the test is 100. Your result has been standardized by the Cattell distribution that is commonly used in Europe. Its standard deviation is 24. Your result by the Stanford-Binet distribution (widely used in the United States, standard deviation is 16) would be 78

It was stupid anyway. All the questions were of a similar nature even though there are many different types of inteligence in many different areas. Ironically, I noticed they put on the instructions page that they are "interested in you homeland", which is clearly ungrammatical.

I scored pretty well: 130.

However, I'm 15 years old, and this test is designed for adults, so my score isn't really accurate. I've never had a real IQ test done, but the ones I've done online usually score me somewhere between 135 and 145.

85.

Took me awhile to get the pattern.
Hope my actual IQ test scores higher.

It was quite annoying. It also gives the result for a standard deviation of 24, then, lower down, slips in the result for the more commonly used SD of ~ 16, which would be confusing for most.

Did you take it, then? If so, how did you find it? PM me for my result (I will have to look it up).

Eighty eight.

I do have dyscalculia and dyspraxia, which won't help, but that's officially the lowest IQ score I've ever had! I used to score in genius territory, apparently my mental acuity is declining by the year.

I got "0" on the CFNSE.

Which doesn't surprise me, as most of the math ones I didn't know (Numerical Fields and Numbers), and also several of the other ones.

Probably below-average in the least going by how many I didn't actually know.

To add, I really think the last official one I took is closer to reality as of now than the one I had when I was...7 or so; 58 to 70 seems to be right for my ability to function mentally in schooling environments (the former was the score of the test). Sure, if you give me the Raven Matrices, I'll score around 130 or so, and that's what I was given as a kid, which really created an erroneous picture of my academic ability (they wondered why I couldn't read and write with that score...).

(Which in the end, makes me a common male with LFA, but I won't go there.)

Strangest test I've ever taken... Though I manage to crack their system. It gave me a real headace and annoying state of mind.

Quote:

14.95% of the people taking the test.

I should've had atleast two more correct answers but the damn page beat me to the next question, worthless timer you can't even see! And how the hell do they count? What's the difference between an unanswerd and a wrong answer?

Worst test yet.
