Is the Valenzetti Equation purely fictional and exist only on the television series "Lost"? I don't see a Wikipedia article referencing some reclusive mathematician from Princeton that came up with it. So I assume it's fake, correct?

Quite right. Fictional through and through, though that hasn't stopped people from speculating about it and even trying to "solve" it.

Do try to write it down in its full form before you leave the world guessing for the next few centuries. After all, the proof to Fermat's Last Theorem is not exactly elegant...
