Have any of you guys had obsessions to the point of where you got sexual arousal out of talking about them, reading about them, or hearing about them?

I have been diagnosed with about ten paraphilias and fetishisms that have all vanished after two months of being around. I'm pretty sure that they're all extreme special interests.

Aren't there time-length criteria on those? I thought paraphilias had to be persistent, to at least some degree..
BTW, check the definition of "fetish." http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/fetish A fetish does NOT have to be sexual anyway. It's a fixation. Or a small object believed to have magical powers. :lol:

Extreme Special Interests sounds like a great name for a TV show. 8)

I get a lot of obsessions which can become extreme, they never become sexual though

Yeah, I've gotten aroused from some interest-related things. Isn't it awesome when that happens? XD XD;;;
One is art. Oh god. I think I have to go draw now that I think about it. I've been kind of neglecting it... (for like.. months..) but it can be so.. UNF. I bet I look like a freak when I'm drawing and then I just sort of spaz out for a sec from.. "excitement". D:

OMG DRAWING I'M SO EXCITED, I'M GONNA GO DRAW.

Yeah, but you have to get rid of the "E."

Xtreme Special Interests

And to answer your question, I don't think I've ever had a special interest or obsession that has "stimulated" me in that way.

I have been highly excited by my interests, but not sexually.
