That's an evil guitar riff! Celtic Frost are awesome...

Black Sabbath's title song performed live with Tony Iommi performing a beautiful and melodic guitar solo before the actual song... The evilest thing I have ever heard...

The absolute best of Slayer performed live...

Beethoven's 5th Symphony, 4th movement... the part a lot of people never get to because of the 1st movement. This version is sublime, and the conductor is a caution in his own right. If you don't care for this sort of thing, at least just cut to the final build-up, starting at around 5:34. I usually like it a bit louder, but this one has the right energy.

One of the very best bands ever, Rush - A Farewell to Kings:

A video I enjoy watching, not because of Freddie Mercury's worst fashion moments but because I strangely enjoy seeing the band get together and create the gorgeous sound. Much fuss has always been made over Freddie's voice, forgetting that it was not only that but the complete effort that made their songs unique:

A new discovery (for me) of quite an old band, apparently. The Alfee - Brave Love. This is easily my favorite right now:

The band that persists in being my favorite... They Might Be Giants.

She's an Angel... not the best quality, but the best I could find.

Til My Head Falls Off (my anthem these days)

Birdhouse in Your Soul - a little college nostalgia for me

I'm not sure if this would fit this thread, exactly, but I think it's a powerful video with a great song...I listen to it sometimes when I get frustrated with everything.

As long as it makes you smile Celtic Frost, have you heard of Sleep's Holy Mountain? I think you'd like it.

Darryl that fits perfectly, it made me smile! I find this guy's music so uplifting but it seems sad on the surface

Irishwhistle, love birdhouse song and now I have more to check out thanks, looking forward to some Beethoven when I get a minute too. All these go through my very large hi-fi so won't go underappreciated :D
