My utter confusion at everything in general. Also carries a connotation of lethargy.

One of my jobs is bartender at my venue..But I am a really a-typical bartender...i sit on a stool wearing noise cancelling headphones and earplugs, half the time, and am either scribbling into my notebook or playing the ukulele...or playing with puppets with my friend or drawing or sewing ..Often, if people try to talk to me about anything other than ordering a drink, I will direct them to go talk to my partner..and sometimes I can get overwhelmed and cranky...

Mine is a poor, three-fold attempt at intellectual word-play.

1) The Acacia is seen by some as the plant where the "crown of thorns" of the Passion of Christ comes from. I find this interesting historically, not religiously.

2) The Acacia is a tree, and as such, has a "crown" (Read this article: Wikipedia: Crown, Botany)
And the crown of this tree is indeed, very thorny. (Click to see for yourself: OUCH!)

3) Christian symbolism and Botany aside, I sometimes interpret the "crown of thorns" to signify the paradox of my neurological condition, which is grand in some ways and painful in others.
