Thanks for the help but I think I'm not interested in that kind of lift.
I'm quite certain, actually.

This would never have been allowed to happen in the days of Mayor Daley...;)

The 2016 Olympics will be the most awesome, loudest Olympics!

Rio de Janiero deserves it. GO RIO!

But....Tokyo will be back with a vengeance to try to host the 2020 Summer Games.

Rome, Prague, Boston, Cape Town, and Venice are some of the cities
studying a bid to host the 2020 Games.

Well, for the 2020 games should go to Rome or Tokyo. Both are great cities for the Olympic games.

People in America are still bummed about Chicago lost in the 2016 Olympics. However Russia Today seems to be really happy that Obama and Chicago failed. A lot of their videos on Youtube are anti Obama.

The venues in Vancouver BC
for the 2010 games are virtually done.

For the 2016 games, the commitee
in Rio de Janiero will use venues
already built with some building here & there.

The new venues will accomodate
athletes, reporters, and people who
just want to watch in person.

A problem with Rio hosting the
2016 games is that Brazil
has a high poverty rate
and a high crime rate.

The commitee needs a big security force
to keep athletes and reporters safe.

Brazilians love their soccer, I mean FUTBOL!

As for the 2020 games, the IOC should give
other non-obvious cities studying a bid a chance.

I wonder if anyone has noticed, as with the 2000 Summer Games in Sydney, that they would technically be playing the Summer Olympics in winter?

Russia Today is a mouthpiece for the Russian government, basically the Russian equivalent of Fox News. I don't know if you saw some of their reports during the Russian-Georgian war, but their reporting was just so laughably bad and slanted. The only people who take them seriously are wannabe-commies in the West and the few Russians(See: Fanatics) who actually watch it.

Also, I find it coincidental that the Summer Games
happen during Leap Years {and years of US Presidential elections}
and Winter Games are played every other year.
