So I am starting to get re-interested in web programming, and to my dismay I've lost my Homsite CD from about seven years ago, so I have to buy a new program. I am just curious as to which one is the best for a beginner. I want something that works like training wheels. I'd rather be able to have one program that lets me upgrade as I get more proficient than have to buy a different program as I move along. (Does that makes sense?)
Is there a program that is better to use than Homesite? Any suggestions? Please? 
They've got something called Dreamweaver, but I am not sure I want to go that "basic." I want to write the code myself.
