BILL NYE THE SCIENCE GUY!?

Anyway, I think it's a really cool Disney show. It's hosted by William Sanford "Bill" Nye, who teaches children various scientific concepts, with many instances of humor in between. Near the end of the episode, there's usually some parody of a famous song from the "Soundtrack of Science", by "Not That Bad Records" (Ha! Not that bad, get it?).

I record reruns of this show on Orange TV's VISION channel (198, in my case); and you can, too! ...that is, if you have it on your BrightHouse.

I've heard of him, but don't have a strong opinion one way or the other...

I love this guy! He's so enthusiastic and he's hilarious. I always saw him on PBS though not Disney unless they picked it up in syndication. The Kratt Brothers are great too and are actual animal biologists who did a kid's show Zaboomafoo on PBS.

I love Bill Nye the Science Guy. That's how people should see science. It's exciting, not boring.

I've heard of him. But I've never seen the show.

His enthusiasm reminds me of my father who was so excited to tell me when I was a kid that they had found some "fossilized poo!!" of prehistoric man. I was too young for him to use the other term. :)

I loved his show back when I was a wee bastard. And my advising professor just used a clip from the show in his undergraduate class, to boot.
