Sara is so mean... I talked to her at school Friday and I was going to ask her out and she said, "Don't even think of asking me out, you little worm!"
"Why?" I asked.
"Because you're, like, too short. There must not ,like, be a single 7th grader in the world shorter than you. Also, you're, like, too ugly. I just don't like it when you look at me. And finally, you're, like, too smart for your own good! Not to, like, mention how weird you are. It's like, totally not 'in' to go out with short, ugly, weird, and smart boys. Take it from me, Christopher. No girls will ,like ,ever be friends with you, or go out with you. And when you get ,like, older, the only girl who would ever marry you would be, like, a total kookus maximus."
  You have no idea how much that hurt my feelings. And I'M NOT UGLY! AND I AM NOT A WORM! I AM A HUMAN BEING!

This is making me depressed...

Why did Sara say all these horrible things to me? Some of them aren't even true! Why don't girls want to go out with me? Why can't they just turn me down politely instead of making a big speech about how short and ugly and smart and weird I am? If you know, please tell me.

Yours Truly,

Sara is a total snob. She thinks all boys ought to be tall, attractive, unrealistically normal, and not as smart as her. But many boys are not all that. Just face it, Sara likes you, but she is definitely not good enough for you because of her shallowness.

You may have to point out a bunch of stuff about her to her face like this: "Sara, you say 'like' far too much. Can't you just skip over the likes? It stretches out your shallow monologues about me even longer than they are without the 'likes'. And who cares if I'm short, ugly, weird, or smart? Only a truly shallow nasty would. You may be my age, but you sure don't act like it. Even I am more mature than you are, Sara. And you think I'm a worm? You really need to get your eyes checked. And the only kookus maximus here is Sara The Snob aka you. Shallowness is the reason why you can't get any good dates."

I hope I helped.

sniff- Thanks. Sara has moved to a different school now though, or so I've heard. But these kind of outbursts are normal. I get them all the time. Maybe the problem is I give them a big reaction that they enjoy seeing. I will use what you said against them. Thank you.

Maybe I'm just too young to go out. Tee hee

Welcome to the NT's world

Remember: they don't pay attention to the exactness of the words so it is not important for them that what they say is true or not. The only thing important for them is the image they project so they do not hesitate to say false thing to anyone who they think is not a menace. They need this feeling of power.

YOU know you are over that 8) , YOU just have to show them

very true... another couple of years should do the trick. a lot of middle schoolers are shallow, conformist brain donors, and can be very cruel in the way they exclude those who don't fit in. You are not the one with the problem Chris, don't let stupid people get you down while you wait for them to grow up a bit

What gives her the right to judge all other girls based on her own agenda and identities? Surely she hasn't gone to ever other girl in the entire world and asked if they liked you or not.

She is imposeing herself on other people by doing this, it shows her own insecuritities with herself.

She copes with her insecurities by beliveing on some level that all girls are like her so it must be ok to be the way she is.

I think that girl needs more help than some people with diagnosed illnesses, You don't say that to people, ever.

I come to the confused conclusion that this girl is just plain weird and insecre. :?

sarah is a b***h. she has no idea what she's talking about. i guess by stating the fact there (which def. seems false), she is not your type of girl. you've got plenty of time. i'm sure there are many girls who will like you and who you will like you back, you're only in 7th grade. you'll meet plenty of girls. you'll become happier, i'm sure!! ! all it takes is time and learning. don't ever take that literally, and don't be so sensitive to another person's words! it will just pull you down and make you depressed. just remember, she is wrong, you are right, you are special and there are and will be girls who will like you and who will want to date you.

You're right. I've already gone out with a girl once. And I liked it. . I don't even like Sara, she's a little too beautiful and a little two dumb. I would compare her to Kate from Lizzie McGuire. I have my eyes on Courtney, a 6th grader who likes me as much as I like her. What's more is she has a very kind and somewhat calm nature with a lot of confidence. I asked her to dance with me at the all school party in 2 weeks from now and she said yes. I intend to give her a beaded tapestry bracelet I made all by myself. She isn't as pretty as she is cute, and I like it when people aren't ridiculously good-looking like Sara. Thank you for your support.

Yours truly,

I'm glad things are looking up for you.

Don't worry about what Sara thinks, people with those attitudes, their opinions don't matter anyway. As you've already relised, is someone like that really even worth knowing?

Chris..what kind of IQ do you think girls like that are armed with?
I'm guessing from the looks of things that she likes the idiots with the numbers on their backs right?

I put up with people like that in school and they almost wrecked me. I was shy, nervous, artistic and I didn't like to touch people or fight. In highschool I developed a hatred for school sports heroes and their moronic female followers. I was always the subject of the jock shock show and their crowd of girl fans were always there to laugh at the "comedy". The worst part is that some of the girls were my earlier childhood friends and neighbours so it hurt to see my former "friends" laugh at me. Maybe that has something to do with my nervousness around girls.

I've lately realized that people like that are very very small and that they don't matter anymore. Anyone that acts like that when they are older are much less accepted than they were in school. I used to think that I had to be like them to be accepted, no I look at them and think "what a bunch of clowns".

Total b***h if you ask me... get rid of her chris.. i know it is hard but, one day you will see that you made the right move.

I am going throught the same crap right now at 37!! I cant let go of my ex and when I saw her a couple of days ago, I thought to myself jeez is that the girl i used to go out with!
She has put on weight, lost her looks which was so important to her and just looks like a washer woman!..
Would still have her back tomorrow if she asked me though!
