There is little detail in the story, and particularly the degree to which the son's autism was a contributing factor to the family's difficulties.

A very distressing topic

I cannot imagine murdering my children, and am at pains to understand the motivation of others.

I would like to see more investigation of how different ethnic/cultural groups understand those on the Spectrum. I worked briefly in a restaurant owned by a South Asian family who had a teenage son who had what they termed "fits" (possibly meltdowns) and the family was clearly embarrassed by this, and would become angry if asked about it. The boy was put into a room and largely ignored. I have no idea whatever happened, as I had not kept track of them since 2004.

it is very tragic, I don't understand why this happens in asian culture, we had a japanese women throw her 2 babys off a bridge here in Calgary a few years back
