Anyone play this for the DS?

I remember it (Dragon Warrior IV for the NES) was my favorite game when growing up.. even this new version for the DS feels almost like a new game having beaten the original game from scratch at least 10 times..

I love these games that have good storylines and focus on strategy rather than on the action and blood like 99% of the games out there these days..

I played it a tiny bit, but not very much. I'm trying to beat the original NES one first...not very far yet, still on the first chapter :oops:

I've beaten the original story mode, then you get a chance for the guy you kill to somehow rejoin you and fight another guy similiar to the first, haven't beaten HIM yet though...

Never played the one for the NES however...

I played some of the NES rom a while back.

It's really good for an 8 bit RPG. Super kudos to Squenix (then Enix.)

Just Enix, Square had nothing to do with the Dragon Warriors/Quests, they were actually rivals (though they did eventually team up to create Chrono Trigger).

I have beaten and the game is fantastic I just need to get the money to buy V.I am broke and so poor. :(
