Contributing as much to the world as possible.

Influencing as many people as possible in a positive way.

my new priority in life is getting a jar of pickles open.
i have some crumpets and some soft danish butter to spread on them and some slices of beef "silverside" to put on the crumpets, and i need the pickles to spread on them.

i have immersed the lid in boiling water and tightened a belt around the lid and twisted but it does not work.

it is ridiculously tight and i think the lid is not openable except for stabbing the metal lid with a knife and then widening the slit so i can get some f*cking pickles out.

i need the pickles out of the jar immediately because i intend to have my crumpets as i want.

i can not think of any more important thing at this instant than to get that jar open.

I don't have any. I take things the way they come, day by day. I don't care about the future. Or life. Or my self.

Another priority: Being able to figure things out for the purpose of helping others.

If you still haven't gotten the jar open, try this. Take a flat-head screwdriver (or something similar), and insert it under the side of the lid. Pry a little bit, not completely off, and work your way around the lid at different points. That should enable you to remove the lid without damaging it.
