I doubt I could deal with it... one of my great aunts lives by a train station... it's not the same thing, but it's VERY loud when the train goes by. We were visiting once, and were in the basement. All of a sudden, we heard the front door fly open, and a bunch of thumping around. We went upstairs, in a big mob pretty much, looking around for the person who came into the house, lol. We looked under stairs, in closets, under beds, etc., and of course never found the culprit... so she closed the door, and we all went back to what we were doing. 10 minutes later, it happened again.
I swear I would be the most paranoid person EVER if I lived in her house... I'd always be creeping around the house searching for intruders o.O It didn't stop until she put the chain thingie on her door to keep it closed, but we still heard the screen door booming like someone was stomping through the house.
