I'm still trying to heal from my break-up and find that some weekends can be long and make me go crazy. So I joined a movie group locally and hope to attend soon.

Might be worth considering for others here?

I'm in a board game meetup! I always look forward to it, it's a way to socialize without the usual pressures. I can't say I've made friends yet, but I've met good people and there's potential there.

They're the only social activities I participate in, and it is nice to have an excuse to go out and interact with people, but I have yet to form any meaningful relationships with anyone I've met through them.
