How Do I Post a Youtube Video?

I'm having trouble posting Youtube videos on this site. I can only put a link to the video onto a post, but I'd like to know how to put the actual video into the post. Can anybody help me?

Hello Descartes, when you're writting a post, there's a line of little squares above: Quote URL Image Youtube bold italic under line
You have to click on the little one where it's written "YouTube" before putting the link.

That's what I've been doing but it doesn't work. It says error: you didn't write the file URL. :/

When you click on the Youtube square, there's a thing that pops up. That's where you have to copy the address of the Youtube video ("Enter the movie URL") and then "ok" and the video will appear on your post.

I still can't do it. Whenever I click on the Youtube icon, the only thing that pops up is an error message. I've been copying the link to the video into the post but it still doesn't work. Is it just my computer or am I doing something wrong?

I don't know where that comes from.
It happened to me once and so, I used the URL icon instead.

The next time, it worked fine again with me doing nothing special about it.

Maybe someone else will have an idea how to help you to fix it?
