What do you think. Is it possible for a bunch of aspies to write a book for other aspies to read?

Of course. You'd have to be more specific.
If you mean about living with aspergers, there are already books written by people with it.

Writing a book in the manner that is described here by Boston_MA sounds like a great idea to me. Perhaps we could each contribute a chapter or something? I would be interested.

Ok, let's come up with a subject and title for Chapter One.

We should write a social skills encyclopedia. An appropriate behaviour for all of the social situations should be listed there. It would be a good idea to make it an e-book, so that any of us who have a PDA/Kindle would be able to access it from anywhere.

Chapter One: Appropriate Behavior for when you are in a public setting.

How is that for a title/subject?

I have told my boyfriend he should write a book but he dosent think so. What about a chicken noodle soup type book. Me being a nt I feel as if I could write a book just for being with my boyfriend for 2 years. Masive chicken noodle soup type book some thing like all kinds of stories from aspies and then stories from parents with aspie kids and then realtationship stories.

meh, what's the point. the market is already full of such books, and they're harder to tell apart than films with Steven Seagal.

What are your thoughts on this title? Anyone feel like writing the first submission? A paragraph or two would be enough. You could even dig up relevant WP posts and link em here.

Or...the films with Julia Roberts .

I have found that it is challenging to not go through the satellite channels without finding a Julia Roberts movie on somewhere.

I think the idea of this book sounds great, but I bet it will be challenging to get everyone that wants to contribute to it to find a format/layout that is satisfactory to everyone. In my mind it would be more like each chapter is a different member's story.
