Twin grins topic

That surgery must have been expensive, but worth it to see such great results.

Where are the parents? Perhaps they do not enjoy media coverage, and I cannot blame them.

The girls were found in an orphanage, so presumably the parents are dead or abandoned them.

I'm glad to hear they both survived and are currently doing well. I wonder how many times it's been done this successfully.

I think those girls are three years old.

In my experience a three year old can talk quite well but I haven't heard of anyone talking to them. Can they talk or are they brain damaged?

So now what? Where are they to live? Who will take care of them?

The media made us say "rah rah, good for them" but what happens to them now?

As usual the media has forgotten them and gone on to more important stories like Tiger Woods's affairs.

Yes, all very well but can they talk and who will be responsible for them now?

haven't heard anything more.

I saw a story on the cover of Womans Day (a well known gossip mag) that apparently the mother of the twins wants them raised as australians. I don't believe that (mainly because its coming from Womans Day)

Moira Kelly is the guardian of the kids. Whether they stay here or go back home nothing has been announced.
