I was 6ish months when I started words (Mom-Dad). I was 18 months speaking in clear sentences. I was 2 when I could engage in conversations.
I was also 18 months when I was able to read, and was arranging words in sentences by 2. Chapter books at 5 (Little House, Babysitter's club, etc). I was reading college level reading material in 4th and 5th grades. When I changed schools in junior high, my teachers started sending back reports asking for my parents to stop writing them for me, or to stop coaching me as they thought the theological matter and conclusions were far beyond what someone of my age could comprehend.
My daughter was speaking as early, not reading as early. She started doing math at that age, simple addition, reaching multiplication before Kindergarten. She is in accelerated Maths now, but only getting a C because she hates the homework. (Can't blame her).
