Mission: The group is a social organization for young adults (ages 16+) with high functioning autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. It was formed in July of 2000 and serves as a means of gathering these individuals together to widen their circle of friends, become an integral part of their community through volunteer services, manning an election precinct, enjoying social outings together, and, essentially, improving their quality of life.

I know its still an ongoing group because the FL Autism Society has a forum board and as late as last week Ms. Hays was discussing this group. Give them a call. Even if they aren't close to where you live, Ms. Hays may know of other groups.
