Aspies are human too. They have the same wants, needs, drives and passions.

That said, Aspies do the SAME thing when they find a group situation that they are comfortable with. They shun, ignore and censor poeple they don't like or whom they don't want to like or be associated with them.

Lots of times I've said something and thought everyone was ignoring me, but subsequently realised that they just couldn't hear me (I mumble).

If someone starts ignoring you, they're not the sort of person you want as a friend anyway. Sometimes you get to the point where you've made enough of an effort and shouldn't be making any more effort.

I must confess, I might seem like I ignore people sometimes, but that's down to shyness. But sometimes you can just tell someone is ignoring you, or not keeping in touch, intentionally.
