Toshiba Satellite A75-S229

Hi!

I have a Toshiba Satellite A75-S229 laptop that I purchased on October 15, 2004. So far, I have had problems with the power supply for three times now. I am, quite frankly fed up with it.

I was wondering if someone here was familar with this particular model of laptop and this associated issue.

If so, are you aware of anything to prevent this problem from occuring and/or fixing the problem simply without a laptop technician. I am a desktop techie with an A+ and a MOUS (Office 2000) certification, FWIW...
