I think complain might be putting it a bit mildly with me! Freak out would be a better explanation of what I do when something changes! It depends on what it is that is changing. Funnily enough it's usually small changes to my routine that freak me out rather than large things!

I try not to, but it's hard. The last couple of weeks were just a mess. I had to go to a dumb class two days from eight to five, and then the others days, at last minute, they would tell me they wanted me to go work at another location. I just want things the way they were. I want to work at my own desk, on my own computer, in my own cubicle, with my own things around me, not be helping with filing for someone who isn't capable of doing their own job!

Yeah. I hate change.

When I was a kid, I used to cry when someone changed the channel on the telly or the ads came on. In fact, I had a fear of ads until recently.

I used to do that, a lot and now I don't see any point in doing so. Complaining won't bring things back to the way that they used to be.

I'm not sure if this falls into the whole "routine" issue that Aspies have so I thought I'd ask here IMO it seemed like it. Today my dad started to move the fridge and I complained the water wasn't on so I could fill my sports bottles (he said I could just drink regular water bottles) It also felt strange he got rid of the ceramic plates so he could take down the cabinets. I knew he was doing this kitchen remodel but my parents did not like I complained about the water issue. I tend to complain alot and was curious if others complained alot and like things the way they are of sorts (as in not moved or changed) :-)

I don't complain but I don't like change. When my mum put an Indian elephant curtain over our couch I felt weird about it for weeks. Kind of like a cat I had if you'd change the furniture around she would just stare at it for hours.
Actually come to think of it the lounge room looks a bit weird with the Christmas tree removed.

For me, it depends on what has changed.

Ohhhh yes. Our house was recently redecorated, we had a new extension, loft conversion, new floors, moving everything around in the kitchen and living room for no damn reason... I hated it while it was going on, especially when it was my room, I felt very uncomfortable and had a sort of horrible feeling about it all...

It was fine after I had time to get used to it, though, and if I know in advance that it's going to happen I'll take time to try and plan for it, which does make a difference.

Yes. My Father bought a new car, and I am a bit sulky and I keep saying "I liked the old car".

And I always HATE new seating arangments in the classroom. In my Creative Writing class, the teacher decided to move the desks around, but instead of switching where I sat, I would move a desk over to where I used to sit, near the teacher's desk. The teacher just rolled her eyes a bit, but didn't mind. Another teacher (Who really liked me) would come in and ask "Why is she sitting over there, seperated from everyone else?" and my Creative Writing teacher said "Oh, Thats just Rachel". When people asked me to sit by them I'd say "No. I ONLY like it over here" :D

I remember walking into my class once and every single desk was moved. That did not go well with me. Not at all.

I hate change, I can only accept it if there's a reason for the change, that reason cannot be "change for the sake of change". For example, when my father bought me a bookcase, I hated the way my room looked different, bur I liked the bookcase so I accepted it. Things like classroom seating changes and furniture being moved makes me angry.

I do the same thing. Unfortunately our house (well, our unit) is very small and my mum changes things around in the lounge once every two weeks on average. She says that it's to stop her from getting bored but I can't help but think it's just pointless. I don't really complain about it anymore because it doesn't do me any good. I just have to deal with it.
