I'm not sure if this falls into the whole "routine" issue that Aspies have so I thought I'd ask here IMO it seemed like it. Today my dad started to move the fridge and I complained the water wasn't on so I could fill my sports bottles (he said I could just drink regular water bottles) It also felt strange he got rid of the ceramic plates so he could take down the cabinets. I knew he was doing this kitchen remodel but my parents did not like I complained about the water issue. I tend to complain alot and was curious if others complained alot and like things the way they are of sorts (as in not moved or changed) :-)

Complain?! Ooh boy - my parents STILL haven't heard the last of it about the new lino in the kitchen, or the new shower in the upstairs bathroom, or Mum making me use an orange toothbrush instead of a green one...

My ex said it was an Aspie thing.

I do, when I feel its change for the sake of change.

Yes I complain a lot for I don't see the issue in saying something is wrong has long has done in a respectful manner, but people seem to find the simple fact of complaining irrespective, so often come to be taken in a bad way quite often.

I complain when things are changed; About 95% of the time I give a verbal outburst/protest.

Yes. My Father bought a new car, and I am a bit sulky and I keep saying "I liked the old car".

And I always HATE new seating arangments in the classroom. In my Creative Writing class, the teacher decided to move the desks around, but instead of switching where I sat, I would move a desk over to where I used to sit, near the teacher's desk. The teacher just rolled her eyes a bit, but didn't mind. Another teacher (Who really liked me) would come in and ask "Why is she sitting over there, seperated from everyone else?" and my Creative Writing teacher said "Oh, Thats just Rachel". When people asked me to sit by them I'd say "No. I ONLY like it over here" :D

LOL, it always bugs me when people change their avatars on a whim, I come to associate a poster with a particular avatar.

Hehe...don't worry - I'm not going to hunt you down and force you at gunpoint to change it back! :) Can't help agreeing with Odin (just a little), though...

I have a real problem with people changing. Especially if it's in terms of relationships.

Although that may just be my overactive empathy here

It depend on what is being changed or altered.

If it is something that makes me miserable or
brings me down, then I try to alter it, but if
something has always worked for me then I
stick to that.
