All the time.

Even right now.

Just because I felt like I typed something wrong. :x

I check my posts way too much--grammar, spelling mostly, but also checking to see if I answered the right question, or if my post is unclear.

But the I also routinely type words words out twice.

Sometimes sentence no verbs.

Do not have subjects occasionally.

Oh, I also screw up homonyms pathologically, i.e. typing "knight" when it should be "night", messing up the "to", "two", and "too", and other stuff like that [I think it's because I type like I talk, and when I talk, homonyms aren't a problem].

The interesting thing is my spelling and grammar is usually not two shabby.

[Yeah, it was kinda fun to intentionally make errors for once, at least I won't have to re-check this post!]

I used to a long time ago, but I rarely do now.

I've practiced expressing myself as succinctly as possible starting when I was younger and also done programs (creative type journalling programs for example) that encourage and even train you to write in an honest and unedited fashion.

I like this style of expression and it usually allows me to flow much, much better, expressing more than I would otherwise. I think I've gotten a little more confident with that since I've been coming to WP, too, because the average post size is larger than many other places on the net. :)
In that regard, I figure well, if I do say something that sounds strange or is uncharacteristic of me, it probably just means I am human. People who know me well enough can ask me to clarify, or talk further if they don't understand something. That is just my personal approach; it's probably not for everyone. :D

I may edit spelling mistakes as I go.

If I am aware of a need to be tactful in what I'm saying then I may read over a few times what I've written.

I sometimes check a post for spelling errors or to check whether a picture has posted correctly. That's me.

Yes, that's why it takes me a while to even make a post.

I do, because if I get something wrong and have to edit it after, I always feel panicy and need to rush before anyone sees the mistakes.

I sometimes think I typed something completely different to what I intended. Sort of thinking out knickers.

I usually check my posts but occasionally do it too late i.e. after hitting submit and spot a spelling mistake just before the post disappears off screen, so have to open and edit it.

I am a compulsive post-checker. I always worry that I've accidentally said something different to what I meant, or that I sounded offensive (the irony is that people are rarely offended by me here, but in real life they are, and I don't have time to double-check what I'm saying in life).

I always check them right after posting, then I try to do any necessary edits quickly. But after that, I only use "View your posts" to try to keep up with discussions.

I usually do. I look mainly for words I left out.

Edit: or extra words.

I do that, all the time, in fact, I go back five times, just to look at my avatar.

Not much. Only really when I think I've done a smiley wrong or when I think I've accidentally double-posted.

I just misread this as "Do you doublecheck your pants"
