No, please tell me about it

I can think of a lot of bands I like- a lot of them are 80s.

I like Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and the Beatles to name a few of my current obsessions.

Seriously, they're incomparable, really.

:)
Agreed seen them live many times, simply the best thing I've ever heard - been a fan since I was six years old!

Oh wow...am SO jealous right now... I saw Roger Waters when he came here a few years ago, but I fear I will probably never be fortunate enough to see David Gilmour (or Nick Mason). :( Ah, to have been born in the '60s! By the time I came along ('90s), they'd gone their separate ways.

I missed out on their hayday too :( but I was lucky enough to see them 6 times in 1994 and I was in the audience to see them briefly re-united at Live8 - I had a huge meltdown afterwards - it was a very long day.
I've seen both Roger and David live lot's of times too - Pink Floyd and music in general has been one of my biggest obsessions all of my life.

I hope you get to see the 'guitar master' David Gilmour one day he is AMAZING live

For now Tenacious D....

Hell yes. Tenacious D might not be the best music, they might not be the best musicians, but one thing's for sure: not since Weird Al has there been a band that was so good at combining silly lyrics with the most serious of music.
