Can you describe your handwriting? Better yet, can you scan a sample?
Mine is straight and even and I prefer to print my letters.

I would describe that as taking my time.... in a way smooth, not really joint... You could judge on that one, there isn't much i could describe about my handwriting.

I prefer to print letters too. Sometimes I can write joined-up, other times not. I tend to waver between the two as I write.

I print mostly, but even that's illegible.

My handwriting resembles yours a lot. According to graphologists, our mind rules us (rather than our heart). We have lots of emotion (pressure of pen) but we are reserved about expressing it.

I was always told it was too sloppy and was always having to spend coutless recesses rewritting it because the teacher supposedly could not read it, even if it was one of those assignments where I was to copy from the board. Even after I rewrote it, she was not satisfied and made me do it again and again even in the midst of a meltdown. They would only back off when they finnaly realised it was futile. I could never get the hang of cursive. I could never do it extactaly how the teacher had wanted and as a result I was labled lazy. To this day I cannot figure out why people say it is faster to write in cursive. My hands would hurt up to my elbows if I tried to write by hand but no one would believe me and I was told to stop being so lazy. If I was a kid today, I would have been diagnosed with disgraphia. I don't know what my handwriting is like today because I refuse to write. I am an adult and I do not have to be forced to do anything anymore.

I've long suspected dysgraphia on my part, though it may be more dyspraxia I have.

 That weirdly sounds like a person i'am funny enough.... If I was feeling depressed, I would normally write it down.... I can't seem to change my handwriting no matter how hard I tried  I guess that can't change.

mine changes all the time. I don't understand why. sometimes it's slanted and sometimes it's straight up. It's always pretty messy unless I take alot of effort and even then it's not that good. To me it always looks different, the one common denominator is sloppy.

I cannot even sign my illegible signature smoothly.

Whenever I must write a note or something, I print ... and I will do just about anything to avoid having to write at all.

For me, there is almost nothing more comforting than the appearances of proofs of bits of competency -- please pardon the melodrama there -- while sitting here watching characters turn into intelligible words on the screen.

My handwriting has been terrible since grade school and the sisters who taught me repeatedly remarked on it. I have only three problems I am told I write upside down, background, too small and illegibly. Even when I worked briefly as a nurse nobody could read my notes and that's a real comedown when even doctors and nurses can't read your writing. I usually print but do it the same way as cursive and nobody understands that either, The handwriting you've depicted here constitutes models of fine handwriting compared to me. Don't castigate yourself before you can scrutinize other Aspie's handwriting/
