I was wondering if any of you look for what colleges a specialist went to. Johns Hopkins, Yale, Harvard are always top on my list for looking at potential specialists. Does anyone think that if the potential doctor went to these medical schools, that they are the top? I looked online at medical schools in the US that were top 100. Well University of Md is like number 50! That's not good. I'm seeing a new urologist on Monday and he did all his undergrad, med school, residency, internship, etc at University of MD. A friend/surgeon also told me that University of MD is a so so med school.
