INFP - However, every time I take these tests the results are always different. I think they're assuming certain traits go together (such as shyness and introversion; or wanting to be rational and having good self control) which don't go together in me.

I identify with both traits of introversion and extroversion (when I'm in a social mood I'm very social, but I need downtime afterwards).

Intuition sounds more like me than sensing because I'm definitely an 'ideas person' (though I doesn't sound like what I usually hear described as intuition, ie claiming you know something when you can't say how you know it).

Thinking and feeling sound like the two halves of my personality which often don't communicate with each other and tend to alternate control, as a result I tend to wildly alternate between the two extremes in my behavior.

Judging/perceiving makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Gifted - IQ 137

Not sure what you mean by the autism subtypes, so I'll just describe my functioning - I had no language delay or overall cognitive delay, but I did have mild motor and self-care delays (only evident after preschool-age, that's how mild they are). My social skills seem superficially normal and I do fine on formalized tests of nonverbal perception, but I get confused in real-life social situations, particularly with peers. At 22 years old, I'm doing well in university but I can't live independently because my self-care skills are around the same level as an average 12-14 year old. Put me in whichever category you want based on that.

Oh.....I thought this thread was going to be referred to a ridiculous question like ''do people on the spectrum have more of a personality than NTs?'' or something stupid like that.

I did the test, and then it asked:
You prefer to act immediately rather than speculate about various options

BS question. I act immediately after having thought through the various options.

But I'm would be your

Okay. I did the test anyway.

Strange questions, and I ended up as a 1%'er of all. Funny enough that's also my IQ.
I'm an architect:
Architects are rare - maybe one percent of the population - and show the greatest precision in thought and speech of all the types. They tend to see distinctions and inconsistencies instantaneously, and can detect contradictions no matter when or where they were made. It is difficult for an Architect to listen to nonsense, even in a casual conversation, without pointing out the speaker's error. And in any serious discussion or debate Architects are devastating, their skill in framing arguments giving them an enormous advantage. Architects regard all discussions as a search for understanding, and believe their function is to eliminate inconsistencies, which can make communication with them an uncomfortable experience for many.

INT*/Gifted/Asperger's

INT* because I am so borderline J/P that which one I test at would change within an hour.

Gifted - the IQ test as part of my diagnosis tested me at high-above-average, yet there was agreement that this was flawed because trying to give someone an IQ test when they're autistic is a bad idea to start with, and while they're beginning to shutdown when doing so is even worse. Agreement was that accurate testing would have easily pushed me into the 130+ range, which fits with how I was treated as a child. Apparently Tuttle doesn't react well to having words associated with emotions being thrown at her one after another asking her for definitions.
But then again IQ ~130/ EIQ as tested online ~70, that's rather expected...

Asperger's Syndrome - High functioning but not mild
