Do you hold this view when it comes to sports?

I used to. I still don't really play sports, only martial arts.

It all depends on the activity involved. I'm better as a spectator in ball sports because I'm such a klutz with my hands. Of course I can kick a football (U.S.) decently. With other events like wrestling, I definatly prefer participation over watching. Also if I'm real close to one or more of the athletes/players involved, I can make a pretty good male cheerleader, which I guess would fall somewhere between fan and jock. After all, it's harder to fumble or drop pom-poms.

I agree with James. I can play sports, but cannot watch sports. Except for MMA, then I can watch and do it.
