I blame Ayn Rand for destroying America. Her idiocies have created a sense of moral absolutism with a decisive segment of the ruling class that precludes any pragmatic practices in compensating for distortions in the system as it exists now. The system has suffered from distortions like a human body that has lung disease, this affects the other organs. In this case, the system is sick but cures are not allowed because Ayn Rand's influence says that administering cure is morally evil. So it doesn't happen and the patient dies. It makes one wonder about this foreigner...
