Still stupidly good.

One where the person is in physical agony and wants to stay in bed all day but can’t because it hurts too much to lie down.

Any ideas?

Is a hangover close enough?

Similar idea but heroin-sick:

Ohh they both work, thanks!

I feel like I’m on Heroin (not that I’m familiar with it), after a week of morphine for a fractured rib. I have to go back to the doctor a second time because I can’t sleep on morphine and now she thinks I’ve sprained my chest or ribs from contorting too much. I keep thinking I might be better but then I’m getting worse every day.

Delightful. Hopefully that trend doesn't hold. I've had times where my health was breaking along multiple lines from work and it took some intense juggling to bring myself back from the edge.

'You have my permission' to dive on a great bowl of soup, a hot cup of tea, and a great movie or ten.

I made a 500 piece puzzle yesterday. Made a Frappuccino today. Watched some YT. Had homemade turkey soup for a few days. Lots of chai tea.

The more you’re nearing your destination the more you’re slip sliding away.

There’s a shadow just behind me
Shrouding every step I take
Making every promise empty
Pointing every finger at me
Waiting like a stalking butler
Who upon the finger rests
Murder now the path of must we
Just because the son has come

Jesus, won’t you f***ing whistle
Something but the past and done
Jesus, won’t you f***ing whistle
Something but the past and done

Why can we not be sober?
I just want to start this over
Why can’t we drink forever?
I just want to start this over

I am just a worthless liar
I am just an imbecile
I will only complicate you
Trust in me and fall as well
I will find a center in you
I will chew it up and leave
I will work to elevate you
Just enough to bring you down

Mother Mary, won’t you whisper
Something but the past and done
Mother Mary, won’t you whisper
Something but the past and done

Why can we not be sober?
I just want to start this over
Why can’t we sleep forever?
I just want to start this over

I am just a worthless liar
I am just an imbecile
I will only complicate you
Trust in me and fall as well
I will find a center in you
I will chew it up and leave
Trust me, trust me
Trust me, trust me
Trust me

Why can we not be sober?
I just want to start this over
Why can’t we sleep forever?
I just want to start this over

I want what I want
I want what I want
I want what I want
I want what I want

Except the real problem is something inherent in me. Same ultimate effect.
