Has someone crazy/weird implied that you are crazy/weird?

I know people with AS are considered by NTs as being strange. What drives me crazy is, there are some true weirdos/crazies that have implied I am strange.

Has this ever happened to you?

Yeah, this guy everyone called "psycho-vet" told someone that I was "really f**ked up".

I spent a week in a mental crisis center a little over a year ago. There were people in there with diagnosis's that are commonly considered "crazy." They were just people with problems. I didn't get the impression they got much quality assistance from anyone. They were condemned as crazy and written off. I can't imagine trying to function with the problems some had, and the treatment they received... everywhere.

With that said... Yes, I've been called strange by some real characters. :viking:

No, this has never happened to me. Crazy/weird people have said that I'm interesting though.

I was once called "psycho" and "crazy" by a former housemate whose elevated level of craziness was obvious to everyone except him.

He subsequently ended up being diagnosed schizophrenic and living in a homeless hostel for a year. Due to the degree of bullying he dished out to me whilst had the misfortune to know him, I felt no compassion for his plight whatsoever.

I have alot of PD people in my family and have had alot of "friends" that are suck too (borderline narcissist) because of my background and attracting them, I've had some BAD experiences with these folks 'turning on' me essentially when I find out what their schemes are and won't play along. It makes me resentful about the autism stereotype, the whole 'loner' thing, when really people should be looking out for the charming charismatic sociopathic types, those folks are much more dangerous.
