I started on piano before I went to kindergarten, then took up drums when I was 8, bass when I was 11 and guitar came later, after I'd figured out how to navigate the frets. I've played in groups since I was 14, in bars and clubs and recording studios.

I play the piano on a daily basis almost. Not top drawer stuff maybe but I do love that instrument very much so.... it suits me fine. (um, tried to play guitar and fret-less bass also, both electrical but I rarely touch those instruments any more).

I used to play the piano when I was little but for some reason I seemed to have gotten bored of it...
Now I just play the guitar and the bass... and that got me entered into a school band which managed to get me in 2nd which was very very close when I entered this competition out of many schools in the UK.

Used to play the organ when I was little. Still give it a shot from time to time, but nothing serious (maybe if I had a keyboard that could do more than two notes at a time).
Played clarinet in school band, but we ended up getting rid of it after I dropped out (of band, not school) =/
Now I mostly play electric/acoustic guitar and electric bass.

hammered dulcimer---started when I was in my late 20's
mountain dulcimer---began in my late 20's

Piano, I know a few Tori Amos song pieces/riffs, and yet I've never in my life taken lessons. I've only been playing for a month or so, and I can barely read sheet music.
