As in do you ever forget that your not
7 or 8 or 12 and the like?

I kept forgetting and its past the point of
no return now for me.

I never could remember I live in a growedups
body and I never rilly knew how to "act"
so I just said heck it and beed myself.

Anyone else have this happen or happening?

yaas , am completely oblivious!
"i am what i yam. and thatz awl i yam"
"Just doing what I do, teh wayz Iz alwayz done it
and teh wayz I'm alwayz gonna doit!"

Forty trees is coming up!
:eew:
what teh heck is that!
am just a little boy!

...

when they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up,
I lied and said "I want to be a fireman"
because I thought that was a brave thing for a little boy to want to become
and they all nodded their heads condescendingly
but I saw through their self indulgent magnanimosity,
and just wanted to be a real adult,
with the ability to chart my own destiny!

To take a job, to master it,
and then to leave it when I felt the wings of destiny blowing me to another shore

To make love to a million women, to be smitten in each ones embrace,
to make each one swoon in delight,
and then to find the one I would find the living joy to spend each treasured moment with, to old age and beyond.

Like the 'Real Adults' i know. :(

(also, I want to be like Tarzan and swing across the chasm and save Leia, like Luke! :D )

(I SO need a kiss from a princess! :( )
(am a frog!)

Not only do I forget my age. I forget the year, as well. It's almost like I'm a young, teenage tomboy of the Mid-60s. The only thing that keeps me in the present, is the Internet and the only thing that reminds me of my age, is the fact that there's a 35, under my avatar of the day.

The only reason I remember I was 39 in 2007, is because that's when I got dxed and joined WP : Joined: Feb 04, 2007

It's been a long hard slow slog to get here today,
but I am a more complete person for being on WP!

I don't forget the number, but I do occasionally forget to 'be old'

One time I not only forgot my age (which isn't unusual) but I also forgot my name. I have no real need for my name and rarely ever say it or get called it. I was just flabbergasted that I could forget when I was trying to get an I.D.

I'm the same but in the opposite way. I know how old I am but I forget that most people expect me to "act young" instead of enjoying quiet nights at home with a book and other things that seem more common in older adults.

When asked I have to think for a minute about how old I am usually. :S :(

From time to time, to some degree - I can describe it best in this way that it's a bit like in "My Pretty Pony" story by Stephen King, has anybody read it?

I'm always forgetting my age. I guess part of it is it's hard for me to realize that I'm already 23. That did take me a while to type down, btw.

I never remember to be 21 or 31 or 41, I always slip
and start doing what I always have done, in fact,
I have slipped for the past 20 years now.

oops. :)

Same here. And after that I can still miss by a year.

But having it displayed in WP does seem to help me remember.
