I probably already know the answer to this question. I just want to see what you think, for fun. What do you think. Do I seem to be more into The Kinks, or The 60s?

I think that The Kinks are your main interest, and the 60s are your secondary interest. :o

On WP, you seem like you're primarily interested in The Kinks, and that the 60's are sort of an inevitable secondary obsession because of your Kinks obsession.

If you're interested in the 60's in general, or other bands from that era, I could use my special interest to help you feed your special interest!

I'm obsessed with the history of popular music in general, but especially the 60's and 70's. I'm like a collector of music trivia.

Whatever happened to Sex Pistols?

Anyway I'd say the Kinks...

I'm also a big Kinks fan.

The Sex Pistols filled a void, when I was full of anger towards mainstream society, and I needed them. I have a much better outlook on life. I love the 60s, again and I'm ready to ride along side mainstream society, again.

Looks as if I'm in the majority voting that you're more into the Kinks.

That's just what I get from reading your posts here over the last couple of weeks.

And are you also a bit obsessed with Routemasters maybe? Evidently these are the red double decker buses from London? If I'm not mistaken... just figured that out from looking at the google.

Are those buses not used anymore? How sad..... I always really liked them, especially to sit on top... and the London phone booths. London in general. Used to sit in my bedroom, as a teenager in suburbia USA, looking at magazines & wishing to be there - I didn't get to see it until the mid 1970s. The buses were still there, the Kinks were still playing.... good times. Used to stay in a b&b for 7pounds a night, two people.

There was the weirdest pub in the world in London at the time (perhaps - at least the weirdest in my experience) - the decor was basically Old London Pub, Guinness & scotch eggs served in dark basement-ness / maybe a step down from the sidewalk, with dead cats festooning the walls everywhere in various states of decomposition, mostly quite dessicated and old. Up over the bar, stuck in the racks of glasses and so on. Truly a strange thing. It's been cleaned up now, the cats removed [I was a bit sad to learn that] - but when I saw the place I believe it had been collecting dead cats for a hundred years or something, although I'm sure someone could correct me on that b/c I'm not sure. It's 35 years ago after all.

And I can't keep letting myself research everything or I'd be here all day.

I guess that if I ask a silly question, I get a silly answer.

I haven't even been paying attention and I've noticed you mentioning the kinks more than a few times.
