...is right now.

I've liked many girls over the years, and I just started liking a new one. She has a lot in common with me, so it might work.

But I can't talk to women at all.

However, today, for the first time ever, with no help at all - I got a girl's name.

Check mate.

That's a good first step. Do you think she likes you?

My problem, which hopefully you won't have, is forgetting their name. But, if they are special/awesome then no forgetting comes afoot.

Ah, I've come close to getting the first kiss before, but not the first date.

or me, it is the completely opposite, I just am myself and can completely forget that should could be a potential girlfriend, then its too late. You might think this is hard to believe but being nervous can be an advantage when dealing with woman, if it was not then it would have been weaned out by laws of natural selection.

Well... kinda. I mean, there have been awkward moments there in which both of us felt awkward (I heard it in her voice - it was pretty obvious), and she makes it a point not to talk to me unless I talk to her, so it's odd.

Sorry to break it to you, man, but it doesn't look like she likes you. Judging from the quote, it looks like she's avoiding you. And avoiding is not a sign of liking.

She could simply be too shy to start a conversation with a guy...
