What are the weirdest surnames of people you know or have heard about?

Some time ago I searched for the weirdest last names of people in my country. And these are the results as translated by me into English: Cuntlicker, One Hundred Butts, Because, Batman, Goat's Fart, Don't f**k, Whoreish, As Whoever Wants, He Carries Manure, Pig's Leg, Grandpa, Teddy Bear, He Torments a Sack, Little Jesus, Our Father (like in the prayer)

But so far, I haven't ever met a person of such a name. What silly sounding last names have you heard of?

The surnames by themselves aren't odd, but the whole name is extremely unfortunate. My dad (a stockbroker) has two clients named Richard Head and Richard Whacker. If you don't get why it's funny, think of the shortened version of Richard.

Snotgrass.

I would seriously be changing my name if I was born with that one.

Quite a popular last name in Poland is the name Niezgoda which is translated as Disagreement (my distant relatives have this surname) - in Poland it doesn't sound funny or anything; just a normal, popular last name but in its English translation it does for you for sure.

Once I saw in a library a book written by an author whose name was Anna Mucha Czekała - Anna Fly Was Waiting (fly like this annoying dirty insect not like a fly in one's trousers).

I know an anecdote (probably it isn't true but it's an urban legend but who knows) about a Polish woman whose last name was Kucala (she was squatting) and who married a Japanese man with the last name of Ishikawa (pronounced in such a way that it sounds for us as literally "and she was pissing"). This lady decided to keep her maiden name after getting married, adding her husband's last name too, as a result ending up as Mrs. Joanna Was Squatting and Pissing. :P

I would love to run against that guy. I could come up with a hundred attack ads based solely on his name. For example:

If you vote for Crapo, then that's exactly what you're going to get!

just go through the phone book and skim through all the surnames. You're guaranteed to find dozens of ridiculous surnames .

over here in america at least we don't call them "surnames" so much, we just call the "last names" :)

There's a cricketer in NZ who's last name is Cumming. I couldn't help but laugh when I first heard it...yeah, I hope I was allowed to post this because it's the truth even though it sounds rude!
