The inventor actually calls it an AI  Take a look. It's worth a few laughs.

Basically it is just a Real Doll with a pre-recorded voice box. Granted it is a sophisticated voice box, but with no self propelled articulation, robotic companions are still a ways off.

It is too bad though, I feel that robots could be a comfortable replacement for people in those who cannot seem to manage any success in romantic encounters. Why get frustrated/angry/bitter/hateful if you have a viable alternative? Heck even for people that can manage success in those areas... its kind of kinky!

I'm think it's safe to say that Turing would've had little interest in this particular model

It might pass the Turing test if it gives synchronised moans in response to er...

Can it respond to verbal questions with responses like "Yea, baby, give it to me!" ?

A mischievous programmer might be tempted to pre-program it to say something like:
"Oh! .... I was expecting something... bigger!"
