Let's just not leave it at (often large, sophisticated and liberal) cities.

None that I can think of, to be honest. If it's a small, rural hick town then chances are there's not much to do there. I'd probably die of boredom.

Cripple Creek, Colorado
Victor, Colorado
Del Norte, Colorado
Florence, Colorado
Hartsel, Colorado
Fairplay, Colorado
Iola, Kansas
Chapman, Kansas
Enterprise, Kansas

I have already been to these places, but want to return to them and see how they have changed.

Hey, I knew a bold bad desperado from Cripple Creek out in Colorado! He walked around just like a big tornado, and everywhere he went he gave his war WHOOP.

PS

and if you're ever in Guion AR around lunch time, the general store makes a superb baloney and cheese on white! :D

No, thank you. I grew up in a small, rural, hick town and don't care if I never see it again.

I already live in one. Great Falls, South Carolina
Look it up on google if you want to see a hick town :P
The biggest event we've had recently was a huge mill fire (last summer) . It was a few houses away from where I live. It was actually pretty cool, but things are pretty boring here. We only have one stop light in the whole town!

And the mill fire turned out to be arson

Nor do I have any intention of taking part in such unsavory activities, thank you very much. My tastes are too refined for that. I prefer activities that have more artistic merit. I may technically be a Southerner myself, but I have the heart of a Yankee.

None, thanks. I grew up in a rural hick town with one stoplight. I escaped it at the first opportunity, and never went back. It is most famous for the tire fire at the local dump. They printed up T-shirts and everything.

I was there when I was 8. Don't remember much of it, I have alot of family in that area.

Leavenworth, WA is a really nice town. It's basically in the middle of nowhere off highway 2 in the mountains. Really nice tourist, hiking town, lots to do, beautiful city too.
