Anything about anything. AS related or not. Simple or advanced. Old or brand new.

Just videos made by You!!

Here is two of mine at my newest channel...
I just thought its nice to share with non subscribers from WP too

I dont mention the name of my channel as I dont want it to be found in searchengines in connection with WP.
I dont tell on YouTube about my AS - but I do support videos about AS made by others :)

Now Your Turn! :D

if you can, choose 720p (hd) for watching the videos as they look grainy and yuk at lower resolutions. but if you choose 720 they wioll look jerky so i reall can not show you what the really look like ion my computer at home.
at my home they are crystal clear and completely fluent, and on youtube they are either blurry (low res) or jerky (high res and too demanding).
they are a bit too complex for youtube because they are crystal clear and require a very fast download speed to watch, otherwise they seize and the little circle starts going around.
i guess you can just press pause until the red loading progress bar is way ahead of the play toggle knob, but i also think that not many people are going to be that patient.

i like animated fractal drill in's.
i design a fractal and then zoom into it forever.

i have to limit the length of videos due to bandwidth obviously.
i like to play music to them to.

here is one that i also played the music to.

here is another of the same family of ideas i had.
i also played the music which was a bit more complex

this one is from a different family of ideas, and i used a different family of musical accompaniment. i composed the music and played it, but the musical score is unfinished and will never be finished, and at the end it kind of trails of into nothing land. the real clip goes for 16 mins but i could only post a couple of minutes worth in youtube.

this one is another family of ideas which is a spherical surface fractal that is drilled into.
the music is recorded at half speed and sped up to express the very rapid notes i could not perform in real time well.

on the other hand i like to play with space simulator programming and i programmed a set of calculations (given weight and thrust and gravity and trajectory ) to get into orbit (rather complicated) (there is a whole book to say i have left out of this post) . the ground level graphics are very simple and it looks blurred until about 20 km in altitude.
this video is a precise match to how long it takes to get into orbit.

i also like to do dumb videos like where i show off my dirty shoes.

that will do for my contribution to this post.

I enjoyed those fractal videos, especially the one labeled "151 d my music". Fractals are fascinating, and it's really neat to be able to keep going deeper and deeper into them.

I have a program called Ultra Fractal, although I don't really understand the math involved in programming my own. I used to like to play around with the program, just setting different parameters to see what will happen, and got some nice pictures. I can't create anything purposefully, though, because I have only the vaguest clue what I'm doing.

I haven't played with it in a while, though, because my the program doesn't seem to work very well with Windows Vista on my new computer.
