I drink and drink and drink when I am nurvous. (Water thet is). So much so that I know every available loo and bush in my area. Some populated places are no go areas for me after they shut the toilets, and in my area this could be as early as 4pm. Is usually 5pm. They keep dissabled loos open for those who habe keys, but as I am not classed as having issues despite me mentioning it to doctors about the difficulties, I have no key so it does not help.
I have not been caught exposing myself yet, but it is quite a concern as it only takes one person to walk in the hidden places I use and I am in trouble.

When I was in my teens we used to be told to drink lots of water after meals. For years and years I took this advice literally. Was the worst advice to give anyone anywhere and here is why. For years I suffered with the runs. Sometimes, I would see entire green leaves come out completely undigested. Almost nothing stayed in for long. After eating a mean 25 minutes later it would be out, and yes, it was the same meal. I could tell by the contents of what came out.
Now some of this is nurves. Having nurves does give one this effect. However, one day about three or four years ago my Mum mentioned that I should not drink so much water straight after a meal. She said I needed a minimum of half an hour to allow my stomache to digest the food before I had a drink. Well, I tried it. Such a difference. For the first time in my adult life I was able to pass solids. All these years of having the runs, all down to taking health professionals advice too literally!
Yes, I still get the runs but nothing like the issues I used to get. It is now nurves and sometimes I do need some cola to help digest greasy foods. I say greasy. It is the oils that turn on me rather then the fats. I feel terrible after foods cooked in oils. I find that Cola does have the effect to break down these oils.
So for me I always try to bring cola (Sugar form as diet drinks and foods with artificial sweetners tend to make my throat and nose close up), and water which when nurvous I drink by the bucketload! Well. A small bucketload... But in a more suitable container like a bottle... Ok. A bottleload!

If you are a marathon runner or tennis player, and perspire a lot, you should definitely drink a lot of water.

My 12 year old daughter was telling me earlier that you shouldn't drink too much water as your kidneys will not be able to process it fast enough, then I noticed this thread next time I logged on!

I have noticed in some doctor's surgery toilets recently there were several posters saying to tell how dehydrated (or not) you are just look at your wee. If it's transparent then you're drinking more than you need, if it's dark brown you are very dehydrated. Then they gave you all the shades in between. I'm sure there is probably one online if you google it.

Also surely the amount anyone needs to drink is dependent on their weight, activity levels, the temperature that day, what miosis is in the food you eat, etc? That's why the old 8 glasses of water a day thing is particularly inaccurate (in my opinion, feel few to correct me if I'm wrong, I often am).

Some articles claim, drinking 15 liter water a day, fluid intoxication

But it is proportional to weight

For over a year I drank 5 liter water a day

110 pounds,

Lately, 4.5 liter, lazy

Doctor said "great"

 Doctor Ben kims article about fluid intoxication

Look it up if you don't believe it

Even if you don't get fluid intoxication, drinking too much water is still bad

The reason why I drink so much water is so that I feel more full and less likely to gorge

But lately gorging anyway

Need drugs

But I don't particularly like drinking water

Especially not that much

It really depends - and you'll see warning signs if you drink too much.

I'm usually very active and work out/play sports so I easily drink 5 litres of water daily, more on occasion. I keep around some good quality rough salt to supplement on sodium if needed.

But I only drink water and tea, I don't like soda.

A liter is about a quart. So a gallon is a hair less than four liters (being that its equal four quarts).

Felt? You have enough, you don't want to drink any drop more.

Medical? If you beat your natural barriers - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyponatremia and other electrolyte imbalances.

This. Also discolouration or changes in temperature in urine (slightly colder than your body temperature).
